Which tool do you need?
The tools fall into two families. Document generators produce something you send to a customer or supplier. Calculators answer a question that comes up while you prepare the document: what is the total with tax, when is it due, what rate should I charge. They connect: the timesheet turns logged hours into invoice lines in one click, and the calculators use the same currencies and tax logic as the generators.

Private, fast and free
Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, there are no accounts and no watermark, and the pages are static files so they load quickly on a phone. Drafts and saved profiles are kept in your own browser storage. Read the privacy policy for the details, and back up important invoices with Save to file.
One set of designs across every document
Quotes, receipts, purchase orders, pro-forma invoices and credit notes use the same fifteen layouts and fifteen colours as the invoice generator, so the paperwork you send to one customer looks consistent from the first estimate to the final receipt. Browse the template gallery to see them all, or open the trade templates for example content for your profession.
Country editions
Invoice rules differ by country, so the main generator has dedicated editions with the right currency, tax labels and a short checklist: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, European Union. Each links the official tax authority guidance. For the reasoning behind the rules, see the guides.
What the tools do not do
- They do not file tax, track payments or replace accounting software.
- They do not generate structured e-invoices such as Peppol, Factur-X or KSeF files. See the e-invoicing timeline.
- They are not tax or legal advice. See the disclaimer.
- The receipt generator is for payments that really happened. Do not use any tool to create documents for transactions that did not take place.
Frequently asked questions
Are all the tools free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no limit on the number of documents.
Do the tools upload my data?
No. They run in your browser and save to your own device only. Clear your browser data and the drafts are gone, so use Save to file for backups.
Can I use the tools on my phone?
Yes. Pages are responsive and the invoice preview scales to the screen. PDF and PNG export work in current mobile browsers, and the print view works from the browser menu.
Which tool should I start with?
Most people start with the invoice generator. If you quote first, begin with the quote generator, then convert the same details to an invoice.
Do the calculators work for every country?
The VAT calculator covers 30 European countries, the GST calculator covers Australia, New Zealand and Canadian provinces, and the sales tax calculator covers the US states. Rates change, so confirm with your tax authority before relying on a figure.
Can I move my hours into an invoice?
Yes. The timesheet tool sends your logged hours straight to the invoice generator as line items, ready to edit.
Do you make e-invoices for Peppol, XRechnung or Factur-X?
No. We create readable PDF, print and image documents. Where structured e-invoicing is mandatory you need an approved provider or accounting software.
Are the documents legally valid?
A document is valid if it contains what your law requires and reflects a real transaction. The tools help you include the usual fields, but you are responsible for the content. See the disclaimer.
Which designs can I use?
Fifteen layouts, fifteen colours and nine font pairings, on A4 or US Letter. They are shown in the template gallery.
